🌸 Chloë’s Corner – April 2026 Update
Mood
April brought a sense of relief and quiet celebration as Chloë completed her final scheduled chemotherapy admission. After many long weeks of treatment, the shift into this new phase has felt both emotional and grounding. We are grateful to be here.
This Month in Treatment
Chloë completed her last round of chemotherapy this month. She rang the gong to mark the end of treatment — a calm, meaningful moment shared with the care team who supported her through every cycle. With this milestone behind us, there are now no more scheduled admissions and no planned visits to the Medical Day Unit for the next three months.
Where We Are Now
Our weekly rhythm is beginning to change. Instead of planning around chemotherapy cycles, we are now focusing on recovery, rest, and rebuilding strength. The shift has been welcome, but it also comes with its own adjustments as we learn what life looks like without treatment days on the calendar.
How Chloë Is Doing
Chloë is tired but relieved. Her energy is slowly returning, and she is beginning to reconnect with familiar routines in small ways. Her hair has started to grow in again, which has been a quiet confidence boost. She is also easing back into schoolwork at a pace that respects her recovery.
We are taking things one week at a time, giving her space to rest while gently rebuilding structure around her days.
Gratitude
We are deeply grateful to the oncology team for their care, compassion, and steady support throughout treatment. Their guidance has carried us through every step of this journey.
As we move into the next phase, we are thankful for the encouragement from family, friends, and our community. This milestone belongs to all of you as well.
